Senior Sales Representative
IntelliTime Systems Corporation, a leader in payroll and cost accounting data collection is seeking a Sales Representative based in our Santa Ana, California headquarters.
IntelliTime Systems Corporation develops a Enterprise class Web based employee self service application used by large employers to collect and edit both employee activity and payroll data. Sell the IntelliTime line of cost accounting and payroll data collection software to large to medium sized commercial accounts in Southern California using consultative selling techniques.
Job entails cold calling via telephone to identify prospects. Set appointments, schedule and attend meetings, generate correspondence and software proposals and quotations. Schedule and then perform software demonstrations from a laptop computer. Close sales and achieve quota.
Learn the IntelliTime software architecture and be able to speak intelligently from a user, administrator and technical perspective about the product. Apply Strategic Selling techniques to manage large accounts and diverse buying influences. Produce weekly personal sales activity reports and monthly sales reports.
Must have two years of success selling software and service projects and a detail oriented approach to sales. Success and quota achievement with ERP or other complex software product project sales for large accounts a plus. Must have sales experience to end users, not resellers. Must eat, sleep, and breathe Strategic Selling.
Above average communications skills and professional bearing are required. Foremost will be strong listening skills and the ability to interpret and use information from a prospect to tailor the sales presentation to the prospects' specific stated requirements. Must be comfortable writing executive summaries for proposals that address all of the client's stated goals and outlines clearly how the proposed solution will achieve those goals.
The candidate will be well versed in decision making issues in large organizations with C level executives. You are experienced with sales scenarios where the technical, financial or user buying influence is the predominate influence and can modify your strategy and approach to the client accordingly.
Salary plus commission on software licenses and services. A four year degree is desired, and verifiable prior sales success is required.
