from External Timekeeping Data Sources
Often valuable timekeeping data is generated
by shop floor management, maintenance management public safety
dispatch or other specialized scheduling applications. Leveraging
this investment, IntelliTime features an easy to configure interface
to import batches of transactions for timekeeping.
The Get External Data (GED) interface provides real time editing
of employee numbers and departments and matches the transactions
to the correct pay period. External data is quickly posted to
the employee timecard and edited for FLSA overtime rules and
leave usage. In many cases the IntelliTime GED interface saves
employees from duplicate entry of work reports and timecards
while simultaneously providing the benefit of easy reconciliation
between the timekeeping and external data source application.
